Luton Airport is the 7th largest airport in the UK and is located
32 miles north of the city. It is one of the UK's fastest growing
airports with 5.5 million passengers in 1999/2000.
There
are a wide range of facilities on offer to ensure your journey
through the airport is relaxed and hassle free. This includes
an airport information desk, choice of bars and restaurants, a
range of shops, a children's play area, a bureaux de change, and
a car or taxi hire.
How
to get to London from Luton:
Rail:
via Thameslink into King's Cross station. 
Bus:
Travelling by bus from London Luton could be easier. London Luton
has some connections with Central London. The coach pick up and
set down points are situated in front of the terminal building.
The Greenline 757 stops at Brent Cross, Finchley Road Station,
Baker Street, Marble Arch and Victoria.
Car:
London Luton Airport is only 30 minutes from North London, 15
minutes from the M25 and 5 minutes from the M1. The airport is
just two miles from the M1 motorway. Exit the motorway at Junction
10. The route to the airport is clearly signposted.
East:
Access to London Luton Airport from the East and A1 is via the
A505 dual carriageway from Hitchin. The airport lies just off
the A505 and is clearly signposted.
West:
Access to London Luton Airport from the West is possible through
several routes. If approaching via Dunstable, follow the airport
signs. Alternative approaches include travelling via M40/M25 to
join the M1 and then exit via Junction 10.
M25:
The M25 gives convenient access to London Luton Airport from Essex,
Kent, Surrey and Sussex as well as from the North and North-East
London. Exit M25 Junction 21 for access to the M1.
